What the Walrus said . . .

Today has been a great day! Not for any photography . . . when I woke up it was still raining and did not clear away until late this afternoon . . . but I accomplished so much!!!

First, I did all my laundry, folded and repacked all my clothes. I repacked all my camera gear after I verified every camera battery I had was charged. I also heard back from the people handling my entry paperwork and I have been approved. I now have a saved document on my phone that is supposed to make entry a breeze, if they accept all my Covid vaccine documentation. And . . . something I have been trying to get done for a long time . . . I now have reservations for the four provincial parks around Labrador and Newfoundland I had hoped to visit, plus reservations for the ferries to and from Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, and to and from Newfoundland to Labrador. I had to do a bit of juggling with my B&B in Labrador . . . but it all worked out!!

Now . . . the car has been repacked, I but some more ice in the YETI and at 5:30 AM I start the drive to the Calais Ferry Point Crossing, in Calais, Maine. hopefully by 7:30 AM I will be in New Brunswick headed for the B&B on the east coast of Nova Scotia!! Thank you all for the well wished and prayers . . . it all seemed to work!!
